National Health Spending In 2007: Slower Drug Spending Contributes To Lowest Rate Of Overall Growth Since 1998
Hartman et al. Health Affairs 28, no. 1 (2009): 246

Erratum

Several minor errors in the text and exhibits of this paper have been corrected. Most notably, a sentence on page 251 has been revised. In the first full paragraph, the second sentence now reads as follows: "This lower price growth was driven in part by increased use of generics and the introduction of generic drug discount programs by large retail chain stores." On page 258, Exhibit 5, the word "to" was missing from note e; the last sentence now states, "...due to the reallocation..." On page 259, Exhibit 6, the title has been revised as follows: "Expenditure Levels For, And Average Annual Growth In, Health Services And Supplies, By Type Of Sponsor, Selected Calendar Years 1987-2007." Finally, the second source has been removed from Note 6 on page 260. The online documents have been corrected to reflect these changes. The authors and Health Affairs regret any confusion these errors might have caused.
